Abstract
SOME weeks since I sent a few notes on Nestor notabilis, * showing a curious change in the history of this mountaineer. I now beg to add an extract from the Otago Daily Times, in confirmation of this strage story of the progressive development of change in the habits of the Kea, from toe simple tastes of a honey-eater to the savageness of acearer of flesh:—
