Abstract
Wady Halfa, January 2, 1886 SIR,—When serving in the Soudan last winter, in the occasional walks I was able to take in the Desert I kept a look out for stone implements, but failed to find any until I reached Abri, where I picked up on the beach a well-worked flake, but much worn, of Egyptian jaspar.
