Notes on Some Cornish Circles

Abstract

The Merry Maidens, Lat. 50°4′ N. NE of the best preserved circles that I know of is near Penzance. It is called the Merry Maidens1 (Dawns-Maen), and is thus described by Lukis2 (p. 1):—
