Abstract
REMDEN is well known among students of theoretical astrophysics from his book “Gaskugeln,” which summarised and extended the work done prior to 1906 on the problem of the internal constitution of the stars. The present book has many points in common with “Gaskugeln,” but it covers a wider field, inasmuch as the recent development of the subject is also considered.
