Abstract
IN July 19331 one of us (R. W.), in collaboration with T. Emmerson and J. E. Taylor, pointed out that, in agreement with Mr. S. N. Van Voorhis2, we had been obtaining curious scattering effects using narrow electron beams passing through helium at low pressures.
