Abstract
MCCARRISON1 has pointed out the great superiority of northern Indian diets as compared with those consumed in the east and south of India, It appeared to us to be of interest to compare the northern Indian well-to-do and poor Hindu diets, the ingredients of which he has listed2, by feeding them to rats.
