Abstract
IN 1931 Selenyi and Lange1 reported that they had obtained photo-currents from barrier-layer cells exposed to X-rays of short wave-length. Later, Gleason2 studied the effect of X-rays on a large number of cells, and Scharf and Weinbaum3 made a thorough investigation on this subject.
