Abstract
IN a previous investigation1 it was shown that the Astrogenic hormones and progesterone are able to inhibit the comb-growth action of the male hormone. This action was described as antagonistic. The control determinations, carried out simultaneously, showed that in this case it was a question of a specific activity of the hormones, the mechanism of which is not yet clear. The antagonism shows itself both on injection of the hormone and on smearing on the comb.
