Abstract
PROF. T. S. PATTERSON'S recent letter1 gives further evidence of the principle illustrated in my letter to NATURE2, namely, that, in binocular vision, the apparent distance, and (consequently) the apparent size of the object, depend on the angle of convergence of the two eyes.
