Abstract
THE new Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science was officially opened on May 24 by Sir George Murray, Lieutenant-Governor of South Australia and Chancellor of the University of Adelaide. It represents in part an extension and modification of the pre-existing facilities for the study of pathology, bacteriology and biochemistry at the Adolaide Hospital, which is the School of Medicine of the University; in part, it is a new development:
