Abstract
EDOUABD CHATTON, professor at the Sorbonne and director of the Marine Biological Laboratory at Banyuls-s-mer, corresponding member of the Paris Academy of Sciences, died on April 23, at the age of sixty-three, after a long illness. The French protozoological school loses one of the best—and probably the most brilliant—of its research workers.
