Abstract

UNDER the presidency of Dr. Thorvald Madsen J the Fourth International Congress for Microbiology was held in Copenhagen during July 20–26. It was attended by more than 1,100 delegates from some thirty-five countries, including a strong representation of more than two hundred persons from the British Isles.
