Abstract
THE programme for Section I (Physiology) of the British Association at the meeting this year at Newcastle upon Tyne included a symposium on folic acid, vitamin B 12 and anæmia. In a brief introduction, the chairman Prof. R. A. Peters, mentioned the importance of the topic and the intense interest aroused by the synthesis of folic acid and the isolation of vitamin B12.
