Transmission of Bactericidal Radiation through Glass

Abstract

IN a previous communication1, I made known the successful preparation of a soft-soda glass containing 0.01 per cent of iron oxide and with excellent transmission at 2537 A., even though previous workers had found zero transmission at this wave-length through soft-soda glasses with the same iron oxide content2.
