Abstract
AN interference method for the centring of optical systems with one and two surfaces has been described by Harle1. In the same paper, a number of principles applicable to more general alinement problems were enunciated. In the present communication, the extension of these principles to the alinement of co-axial optical systems with a large number of surfaces is discussed.
