Pathological Melanosis in an Intergeneric Hybrid

Abstract

DURING the past three years, I have been working on the genetics of an apparent intergeneric cross between two viviparous cyprinodonts, Xiphophorus helleri and Mollienisia sphenops. Some of the results obtained may interest not only geneticists but also those engaged in the fields of endocrinology and cancer research.
