Plasma Cells and Tumour Growth

Abstract

GROWTH and regression of a tumour in experimental animals are known to be accompanied by various changes in the organs of the host, especially in the lymph nodes and spleen. Although there is a close association between immunity to a transplantable tumour and presence of local cellular infiltrations of, say, lymphocytes and plasma cells, there has been a wide diversity of opinion as to the specific cell or cells involved.
