Enzymatic Transformation of Dehydroascorbic Acid to Diketogulonic Acid

Abstract

THE conversion of dehydroascorbic acid to diketogulonic acid has been studied in chemical systems1 ; but, as Harris2 has pointed out, definite evidence is not available for any enzymatically catalysed transformation.
