Growth Requirements of Pome-Fruit Tissues

Abstract

CORTICAL and pith tissue from apple fruitlets undergoing cell division and vascular tissue from more mature fruits have been grown in sterile culture1. In this communication further definition of the growth requirements of apple and other pome-fruit tissues is made.
