Rate of Passage of Inert Particles through the Alimentary Tract of the Cow

Abstract

IN studying the effect of physical factors on the rate of passage of food residues through the alimentary tract of animals, inert particles of known physical characteristics have been used (see, for example, refs. 1 and 2).
