Abstract
MANY investigations have indicated that few chromosomal aberrations or losses have been produced in the immature germ cells of Drosophila 1–3. The present work deals with factors influencing the production of chromosome rearrangements by X-rays in early oocytes and oogonia of Drosophila melanogaster.
