Abstract
THE ABO grouping of dried blood smears by the absorption-elution method has already been described1. That a similar technique can be applied to bloodstains on fabric is also known2. This communication is intended to describe the modifications and development which have followed subsequent to the introduction of the absorption-elution method to this laboratory as a routine test and how the procedure has been made even more simple and its application even more effective.
