Abstract
J. HAGEN1 has shown that carbon tetrachloride poisoning in factory workers induces extensive biochemical and metabolic changes in the central nervous system, liver and kidneys. On investigating the action of carbon tetrachloride in mice, Frunder et al.2–5 found significant changes in the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and lipids in the liver parenchyma.
