Comparison of Bovine Bone Sialoprotein and Serum Orosomucoid

Abstract

IN recent investigations1 a sialoprotein was isolated from bovine cortical bone and some similarities with the orosomucoid (α1-acid glycoprotein)2 of bovine plasma were noted. It was considered to be of some interest, therefore, to compare these two substances under similar conditions of isolation and analysis.
