Abstract
THE presence in male guinea pig serum of factors reacting with spermatozoa from the same animal has been recognized for many years. Metchnikoff1 found slight activity of serum against an animal's own spermatozoa, and Bordet2 states that the sera of unimmunized guinea pigs show appreciable toxicity for the animal's own spermatozoa.
