Dizygotic Twins with XX/XY Chimerism

Abstract

CHIMERAS, dizygotic twins who have two populations of blood cells, arise when hæmatopoietic cells are exchanged or shared at some time in early embryonic life. The first case of chimerism in man was reported by Dunsford et al.1.
