Abstract
CYTOPATHIC tests have been used to detect cytophilic antibodies on monocytes and in sera derived from guinea-pigs immunized with Cl. welchii toxin1, and similar tests were made to investigate cytophilic antibodies on leucocytes and in sera from chickens infected with Salm. gallinarum2. Further experiments have been made to record the development of tissue sensitization in pigs immunized against ovalbumin, and to predict the time at which an additional antigenic stimulation would induce a typical anaphylactic reaction.
