Abstract
THE absorption spectra of cadmium and zinc atoms trapped in argon, krypton and xenon matrices at low temperatures have been observed in the region λλ 1600–3500 Å. Spectra were recorded for various matrix/impurity (M/A) ratios, and at several temperatures. This communication reports our preliminary results.
