Fluorescence Microscopy of Lysosomes and Related Structures in Living Cells

Abstract

LYSOSOMES are usually investigated in subcellular fractions and in preparations of fixed cells. The detection of these structures in living cells is an important task of modern cytology. This communication deals with the possibilities of detecting such structures that can be achieved by fluorescence microscopic methods.
