Abstract
The radiosensitiziring effect of oxygen1–6 has been extensively studied not only in radiobiology but also in clinical radiotherapy, but knowledge of the biological action of high pressure oxygen per se is rather scanty. We have examined the effects of high pressure oxygen on the nucleic acid metabolism of Yoshida ascites hepatorna cells in vitro and Ehrlich ascites tumour cells in vivo.
