Determination of Purity by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance

Abstract

Burnett and Muller1 recently reported a method of measuring melting points using nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. For the past 18 months we have been using a nuclear magnetic resonance technique to determine the purity of organic compounds.
