Prostaglandins

Abstract

Prostaglandins are widely distributed in mammalian tissues and have a high order of biological activity, but their functions are not fully known. This article is intended to give the non-biologist some insight into the events leading to the present minor publication explosion and the current state of knowledge of these substances.
