Observed Shapes of Crab Nebula Radio Pulses

Abstract

ON time-scales of 0.1 to 10 ms radio signals from pulsars exhibit irregularities which include sub-millisecond bursts1,2, marching subpulses3, and variations of polarization4,5. We now describe a search for such irregularities in signals from the pulsar NP 0532 in the Crab Nebula.
