Spreading Tectonics investigated by Magnetotelluric Anisotropy

Abstract

MAGNETOTELLURIC anisotropy may provide an effective tool in the search for deep (0–700 km) linear structures (mid-ocean ridge, transform fault, under-thrusting) connected with ocean floor spreading.
