Further Analysis of the Logarithmic Relationship of DDE Residues to Eggshell Thinning

Abstract

HAZELTINE1 disputes our conclusion2,3 that DDE is the agent responsible for all or most of the eggshell thinning observed in the brown pelican. We have examined the criticisms and found them to be without substance. We will now refute Hazeltine's rebuttal of our paper.
