Abstract
ANTIBODY synthesis is known to result from cooperation between antigen specific bursal equivalent (B) cells and thymus-dependent (T) cells1,2. When hapten-protein conjugates are used as antigens, the T cells recognize the carrier protein determinants and the B cells produce the hapten-specific antibody3,4.
