Effect of prostaglandins E1, E2 and F on human blood coagulation

Abstract

As prostaglandins are being used to induce labour and abortion in some women, it is necessary to know the effect of these compounds on the blood coagulation system. We have investigated this problem using plasma from normal women and prostaglandins E1, E2 and F (Upjohn).
