Chemical uniformity of airborne particulate material, and a maritime effect

Abstract

Airborne particulate material has a uniform elemental composition, in which the industrial elements are enriched relative to soil. In the surface of the North Sea the trace element content seems to be massively enhanced relative to bulk seawater.
