UK investigates virus insecticides

Pathogenic insect viruses may be a safe and effective alternative to chemical insecticides. The Unit of Invertebrate Virology at Oxford and the Centre for Overseas Pest Research in London are already conducting field trials with one class of virus: Baculoviruses. A. J.
