Concentration–response effect of IL-12 on IFNγ production by PMN. PMN (2 × 106/ml) were incubated for 24 h with increasing concentrations of IL-12, either alone or with LPS (100 ng/ml). After 24 h, IFNγ was assayed by ELISA in cell-free supernatants. Results are means±s.e.m. of three independent experiments. *P<0.05 vs cells incubated with IL-12 alone.
