BALB-background necroinflammatory liver disease in TGF-β1−/− mice is recessively inherited. Litters from TGF-β1+/− intercrosses on the genetic backgrounds shown were killed at postnatal day 11–12 and plasma samples were collected for AST and ALT analyses.
