(b) Summary of necrotic area. There was no significant difference between the area of necrosis in L-Stat3−/− (n=6, black bar) and Stat3f/+ mice (n=6, white bar) 40 h after CCl4 injection. (c) Summary of BrdU-positive hepatocytes at 40 h after CCl4 injection. BrdU-labeled hepatocytes were counted 24, 40, 48 and 72 h after CCl4 injection.
