Mammary tumor of a FVB/N (Trp53+/−) × FVB/N (Hus+/−) female mouse showing a combination of spindle cells, giant cells and dysplastic epithelial gland-like structures. The immunohistochemistry shows the distribution of CK8/18 (a), CK14 (b), smooth muscle actin (SMA), (c) and vimentin (d). The tumor cells show dual staining of mesenchymal and epithelial markers, with some overlapping of intermediate filaments and SMA.
