  2. aApoE and GST genotypes do not correlate to vascular dementia. A random subgroup of 75 patients (73 for GST) was analyzed for polymorphisms in the ApoE, GSTT1, GSTM1, and GSTP1 genes. Diagnostic groups are abbreviated as in Figure 3. Numbers of patients per group are given, and the error probabilities according to a Chisquare test are indicated. For comparison, the telomere length distribution (TELO) in these 75 patients is included.
