Uterine weights in oophorectomized (OVX) rats treated daily with vehicle (100 μl, im, of cottonseed oil), α-zearalenol (ZE; 1 mg/kg, im, in 100 μl of cottonseed oil), or 17β-estradiol (E; 20 μg/kg, im, in 100 μl cottonseed oil). Mean weights were determined for each treatment group and compared with untreated sham OVX rats. Each point represents the mean ± sem of seven experiments. ♯ p < 0.01 versus vehicle.
