From: Immortal Activated Human Hepatic Stellate Cells Generated by Ectopic Telomerase Expression
Telomerase-positive HSCs take up retinol. Telomerase-positive HSCs from clone 14 were cultured in regular growth medium containing 1.5 μm retinol. The fluorescence of vitamin A in the cytoplasm of HSCs was captured by fluorescence microscopy at a wavelength of 330 nm after an incubation time of 14 days.
