Hematoxylin and eosin-stained section of salivary glands and liver tissue in the nude mice that received spleen cells sensitized with CA-II. In the salivary glands (a and b) and liver (c and d), inflammation around the draining duct was observed in nude mice that received CD4+ spleen cells prepared from nTx mice immunized with CA-II (a and c). On the other hand, there was no inflammation in the nude mice that received CD8+ cells from nTx mice immunized with CA-II (b and d). Original magnification, ×200.
