TRAIL-induced nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) activation in human colonic adenocarcinoma cell lines (a) HT-29, (b) LS180, and (c) SK-CO-1. Cells were transfected with pNF-κB-Luc vector. Transfection with pCMV-IκBα vector was performed as a negative control. NF-κB activation was analyzed using an NF-κB-luciferase reporter gene assay. The results are presented as fold induction of the luciferase activity observed in cells incubated with the indicated concentration of TRAIL for 24 hours compared with that of cells without TRAIL.
