Regulation of TNFα, IL-1β, and IL-8 by GROα. Anti-GROα mAb (10 μg) was injected with 10 mg of MSU crystals into rabbit knee joints. At 2 hours (A), 9 hours (B), and 12 hours (C) after the injection, the synovial fluids were harvested and levels of TNFα, IL-1β, and IL-8 were measured. The data represent the mean ± se of 8 to 20 estimations from separate joints. # p < 0.05, § p < 0.01, when compared with MSU crystals alone.
