From: Angiopoietin/Tek Interactions Regulate MMP-9 Expression and Retinal Neovascularization
Real-time RT-PCR analysis of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-9 expression in cultures of retinal microvascular endothelial cells treated with Ang-2. A significant dose-dependent increase in the level of MMP-9 mRNA was observed. *Significantly greater than untreated cells at p < 0.01. Values are the mean ± sem for n = 3 separate cultures for each treatment.
